Tough padded nylon outer with 2 Elasticated straps attached with Hook and Loop which wraps around the cruciate or stifle area. An adjustable nylon webbing strap holds the boot in place and wraps around the dog’s torso. The end of the strap has a hook and loop section which secures the strap to the boot. A soft fabric pocket on the inside accommodates 1 gel pack or magnet pad.
ICE Therapy – Keep the Gel pack in the freezer for 2 hours. Although frozen, the gel pack will remain soft and malleable. Use for 10 – 20 minutes.
HEAT Therapy – Allow pack to stand for 7 minutes in boiled water. Apply until the pack is no longer hot.
MAGNET Therapy – Slide out the Gel pack and replace with the Magnet Pad which can be left on for as long as possible.
The boot is ideally used after strenuous exercise, to reduce inflammation, for injuries, post surgery, to encourage circulation, pain and arthritis.
When not in use, store boot, gel packs and magnet pad in a cool, dry place. Sold as a single unit and available in small, medium and large.
