Cool/Heat Pad for Dogs

Cool/Heat Pad for Dogs

The Res-Q-Tack Cool/Heat Pad for Dogs is a versatile, reusable therapy pad designed to provide cooling or heat therapy for dogs. It can also be used with Res-Q-Tack Magnet Pads for magnetic therapy.

The pad has a thin foam layer for added comfort and individual pockets that securely accommodate either reusable gel packs or Magnet Pads. Zips on both sides help keep the gel packs or Magnet Pads safely enclosed during use.

Available in two sizes, the Cool/Heat Pad is ideal for use at home, while travelling, at dog shows, during training and after strenuous activity.

Cooling Therapy

For cooling, place the reusable gel packs in the freezer for approximately 2 hours. Once chilled, place the gel packs into the pockets inside the pad.

The Cool/Heat Pad can be used to help cool your dog:

• After strenuous activity or exercise
• During hot weather
• When your dog is feeling overheated
• When travelling in a warm vehicle
• At dog shows, competitions and outdoor activities

Heat Therapy

For heat therapy, place the reusable gel packs in boiling water for 5–7 minutes. Remove the gel packs carefully and allow them to cool to a comfortable temperature before placing them inside the pad.

Heat therapy can provide warmth and comfort for dogs that feel cold and may be particularly useful for older dogs during colder weather.

Magnetic Therapy

The Cool/Heat Pad can also be used with Res-Q-Tack Magnet Pads.

Magnet Pads can be used as part of a general wellbeing and comfort routine and are suitable for owners who wish to incorporate magnetic therapy into their dog’s care routine.

Magnet Pads are included with the Magnetic Therapy options and are also available separately.

Easy to Carry

Two sturdy carry handles make the Cool/Heat Pad easy to transport, making it particularly convenient for:

• Dog shows
• Training sessions
• Competitions
• Travelling
• Home use
• Easy to Clean

The Cool/Heat Pad can be hand washed.
